Mercedes Yaeger, owner and guide. Mercedes has been a tour guide in Seattle for over ten years and has worked for The Pike Place Market, Elderhostel, and the Underground Tours. She was one of the writers of the Sub Seattle Tour. Since she was the age of 7, her family has worked in the Market. She has researched each ghost story, relying heavily on Municipal Archives and newspaper accounts of past events.
Mercedes is an ordained minister and has performed public seances. She also pursued Bikram yoga and was a Bikram teacher for several years. In 2009, Mercedes self published her book, Market Ghost Stories: Meet the Souls of Seattle. Mercedes also appears currently on KCTS9 as talent.

Michele Lindberg, guide. Michele moved to the Seattle area in 1980. She is originally from Louisiana and California. Her 14 year old daughter got her hooked on ghost tours in Canada and the U.S. She works as a book keeper during the week and loves the change of pace telling stories is from balancing ledger sheets all week.
Michele has a passion for ghost hunting and occasionally brings her equipment on the tour. Her devoted family are also often with her in the Market at night.

Penny Truitt, guide. Penny has been giving tours of Seattle for over 13 years. Before calling Seattle home she lived in Italy and Japan. Her travels fostered a love of history, culture, and oral tradition. Penny moved to Seattle to hone her gift of gab at Cornish College of the Arts where she met her husband.
She is an ordained minister specializing in Hand Fastings, a proud wife and mother, and a avid talker. Penny is excited and honored to be giving ghost tours in the iconic Pike Place Market. Her friends and family thank you in advance for giving her other people to talk to. She also has an online store with cafepress, Rain City Supply.

In her childhood home in Denver, she was once tapped on the shoulder, when no one else was present in the room. In that same home, she witnessed a black, shadowy, figure slowly walking down the steps. Those experiences only heightened her interest in all things unseen. She moved to Seattle, Washington and obtained a Juris Doctorate degree. She is proud to be an alumni member of Phi Theta Kappa, the Alpha Epsilon Omega Chapter. As an adult, she still loves the paranormal, and feels eternally grateful to be able to take people around Pike Place Market and introduce them to the deceased inhabitants of the Market.

Living close to the Market, Tige enjoys the area and frequents the Market daily. He and his wife are soon expecting their first child.

Monica Hartsock Rodriguez, guide. Monica is a recent graduate of Seattle University and has passed the bar in Washington State. While on her way to becoming a lawyer, she has been telling ghost stories in the Pike Place Market. She enjoys the community and spirit of the Market. She met her husband while giving the ghost tour.
