Mercedes, owner, has grown up in the Pike Place Market. Her parents own Studio Solstone in the Atrium of the Market. She started offering ghost tours in 2003. She uses her background as a film archivist to research each story. For her self published book, Market Ghost Stories, Mercedes was awarded the title of Literary Lion in 2011 by the King County Libraries. In 2012 she converted an abandoned closet into an espresso shop to create Ghost Alley Espresso

Mercedes knows a bit too much about the Market. Her favorite time to give tours is during the day. While she has researched and given the ghost tour over the last thirteen years, she prefers sharing the Market itself;  her personal knowledge of how it operates and the challenges / joys of owning a business in the district.

Kook Teflon, tour guide, is a local certified paranormal investigator, filmmaker, custom doll maker, collaborates with many local/ international artists and is passionate about dark history including the supernatural. Her second home is in New Orleans. Her son, a talented performer as well, sometimes gives the tour with her. She has been giving ghost tours in the market since 2011.

Kook has a wealth of knowledge, from the Market's sordid past to cabaret and burlesque history. She is one of the few tour guides in Seattle to have worked several years leading tours into the former Mortuary. She has conducted paranormal research throughout the Market.

Jessica Ness, tour guide, was born in the northwest and is a devoted world traveler. Her interest in Seattle history, as well as her innate curiosity toward the paranormal, make her an ideal ghost tour guide. She is attentive to unique details of the Pike Place Market's history and has had many interesting experiences leading groups through the tour.

Jessica is excited to offer you customized tours. Feel free to talk with her in advance about particular areas of interest or Pike Place Market history you may want to focus on. If you are looking for suggestions about pre or post tour food and drink choices, Jessica will be more than happy to provide.
