Seattle's Market Ghost Tours

by: Jennifer Ano

"Whether or not you're a fan of ghost stories, the Market Ghost Tour through Seattle's Pike Street Market at night is a walking tour that should not be missed.  Seattle has a rich history full of gold rush stories, of fortunes made and lost, brothels, and the seedy side of the underground.  Pike Street by day is a feast for the eye, but at night, the area transforms.  Markets are closed, cleaned, scrubbed and devoid of the bustling energy of the day.  In its place, the street takes on a lonely feel, and the stories told by our tour guide, Tige DeCoster, seemed to bring out the eerie factor of a classic haunted old town."
