Conventions

Seattle is a great place to hold a convention. Our Convention and Visitors Bureau can help you with all your needs. As a member, our tours are advertised with the Visitors Guide and we often get requests for night tours. There is not a lot of night tour companies in Seattle, but we have three offerings that you can choose from beginning in 2009. With all of these tours, we can work around your schedule. We can do day tours as well. (Truth is we like to showcase the Market at night!)

The Market Ghost Tour, at just under 90 minutes this walking tour through the Market introduces you to the ghost stories, folklore and history of the Market and Seattle. Convention and group discounts are available. 

The 5PM Market Ghost Tour focuses heavily on the history of the Market, so if you want a great introduction to the Market while the shops are open, this tour time is a great choice. 

The Seattle Lust Tour, a 90 minute walking tour down First Avenue with a drink included. This tour is only for the over 21 crowd and showcases the history of lust in all it's forms that once graced "Flesh Avenue"

We also receive requests for dinners in the Market for larger size groups. We can help get you in touch with several restaurants in the Market. Please mention that you are going on the Ghost Tour when you speak to them! We recommend for groups under 50 the following restaurants:

Il Bistro, excellent menu, full bar, and a gorgeous location in Post Alley, right where the tour starts. 206-682-3049

Steelhead Diner, A large restaurant with a private group room located in the center of the Market. 206-625-0129

Kells Irish Pub, The first floor offers a restaurant and bar with live Irish music. The second floor has a private dining room, inside the city's first mortuary and close to where the tour concludes. 206-728-1916

And, for those groups wanting to make a full night of it, we suggest going to a show at the Market Theater, home to Unexpected Productions, also members of the Convention and Visitors Bureau and an improv troop that have been entertaining audiences for the past 25 years. The tour meets just outside their door in Post Alley and we can arrange a discount with the theater for your group. 206-587-2414
