The story of Linda Hazzard, whose brand of medicine was starvation, in 1910. Very well written and interesting. I am re-reading it right now and I can't put it down. A fantastic book by a Northwest author. 

Athena, the author is a very interesting woman. She is writing several books about ghosts in different cities. I met her last year. In this book you will not only meet all the ghosts, you will also meet the guides, like myself, Penny, Jake and Ross - all different tour guides with a interest in ghosts.

This is an incredible book.

Recent discoveries in North America and South America show the large network of cities that were in place before Columbus arrived. A challenging read for some because of the issues it raises: 1) the idea of an empty "new" world before Columbus is an incorrect view 2) the idea of Native people living in harmony with the earth is also incorrect. To show these two points, the author expores many cultures, the cities they built and their environmental impact on the land they inhabited.

Written by Bill Speidel, banned in Seattle Public Schools, this is a fantastic read. Sex, sewage and money on almost every page..

Written by two Seattle locals, and founders of AGHOST, this is a great book to learn about all things ghostly and read a few ghost stories about the Seattle area.

Gives you a taste of what medicine was like....

Great pictures and lots of information about labor, growth and the sub-cultures in Seattle's history.

This is a wonderful book, maily a collection of newspaper articles. 1906 Seattle reads crazier than Chicago mob wars. A flamboyant preacher known for seducing his female followers is murdered on a Sunny June afternoon in Seattle. Not a man in the city will sit on the murderer's jury. Two newspapers competing for audience run scandalous headlines about this story. A chain of murders and suicides follows shortly after the release of the murderer.
